The Daily Tribune reported in June that the first two nights "sold out rapidly", so expect few seats, if any, for 11 and 12 November.

The promoter's page does not say whether these prices include ticket charges, so confirm the final amount at checkout. Bite The Apple is an upgrade for people who already hold a ticket: you enter your ticket ID as the promo code. Billboard Philippines reports that it includes the band's pre-show soundcheck and press conference, a VIP laminate, a photo in front of the VIP backdrop, early access to the merch booth and a separate VIP entrance.

Live Nation's ticket terms say tickets cannot be used as prizes, contests or sweepstakes, and tickets sold or used against that rule can be cancelled without a refund. Buy only from SM Tickets or Ticketmaster. No opening act, gate rules or bag policy has been announced yet. We will update this page when Live Nation posts show reminders.

## Who 5 Seconds of Summer are, and why this show matters

5 Seconds of Summer, or 5SOS, are four friends from Sydney: Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin. They played their first gig together in late 2011, to about a dozen people at a hotel in their hometown. Three years later they were headlining two sold-out nights at the Forum in Los Angeles, per The Philippine Star, and Billboard reports they became the first Australian act with three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200.

The songs most people know:

- **"She Looks So Perfect"**, the 2014 breakthrough single, still the last song of the main set on this tour
- **"Amnesia"**, the ballad that lit the MOA Arena with phone lights in 2016, as Rappler described it
- **"Youngblood"**, the title song of their 2018 album, which now closes every show
- **"Teeth"**, which comes third in the current set

The tour is named after their sixth album, Everyone's a Star!, released on 14 November 2025, their first on Republic Records. Its singles include "NOT OK", "Boyband" and "Telephone Busy". Rolling Stone said the band "have fun with their past while continuing to play with darker sounds", and the show is built the same way: new songs up top, then the older songs that made them.

Manila matters to them. The 2016 show here sold out, and when the 2026 tickets went on sale in May the queues were long enough that the band added a second night the day before the general sale. A third followed in June.

## 5 Seconds of Summer and Manila

A short history, from newspaper reports:

- **12 March 2016:** their first Manila concert, the Sounds Live Feels Live tour at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, presented by MMI Live. Rappler reported the arena was sold out. They closed with "She's Kinda Hot" and "She Looks So Perfect".
- **17 August 2017:** back at the MOA Arena for the In The Mix 2017 festival, on a bill with Zara Larsson, Dua Lipa, DNCE, Daya and Two Door Cinema Club. PEP.ph wrote that 5SOS "probably received the loudest cheers" of the night.
- **11 July 2019:** Just Woke Up in Manila, a small showcase at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City for fans who won passes through MCA Music.
- **November 2026:** three nights at the MOA Arena, presented by Live Nation Philippines.

So these three nights are their fourth trip here to play, and their first headline arena shows since 2016.

## What they have said about coming

When the second Manila night was added, the band wrote on their official accounts, as reported by [ABS-CBN](https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2026/5/7/5-seconds-of-summer-adds-second-show-for-manila-leg-1446) on 7 May 2026, that "the demand has been absolutely insane for MANILA so we're adding a second show to see as many of you as possible". They opened that post with "KAMUSTA PILIPINAS".

On the album the tour is built around, in a band statement reported by [Billboard](https://www.billboard.com/music/rock/5-seconds-of-summer-new-album-everyones-a-star-stream-1236113668/) on 14 November 2025:

> "We weren't chasing a sound or a trend, we were chasing what felt exciting to us. Every track feels alive in a way that reminds us of why we started making music in the first place."

Ashton Irwin, on landing for the first Manila show, in a post quoted by [Rappler](https://www.rappler.com/entertainment/music/125493-5-seconds-of-summer-arrives-manila-concert/) on 11 March 2016:

> "We've been waiting to come here since we started the band, it's so good to finally be in the Philippines xx"

Luke Hemmings, from the stage that night, as reported by [Rappler](https://www.rappler.com/entertainment/music/125576-5-seconds-of-summer-manila-concert-photos/) on 12 March 2016:

> "I feel like we've been to the Philippines for a long time… I'm sorry it took so long."

And at In The Mix in 2017, PEP.ph [reported](https://www.pep.ph/news/local/26595/5-seconds-of-summer-dnce-captivate-at-in-the-mix-donny-pangilinan-swarmed-by-fans) that Luke told the crowd "Manila is one of my favorite places to play a show".

## What they have been playing

The Asia run has not started yet. The most recent shows with setlists are the Latin American dates in September. This is what they played there, not a promise of what they will play here.

On 27 September 2026 at Costa 21 in Lima, Peru ([setlist.fm](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/5-seconds-of-summer/2026/multiespacio-costa-21-lima-peru-4b7fc766.html)):

NOT OK; No. 1 Obsession; Teeth; Easier; More; istillfeelthesame; No Shame; She's Kinda Hot; Boyband; Telephone Busy; Evolve; Bad Omens; Ghost of You; I'm Scared I'll Never Sleep Again; Starting Line (Luke Hemmings song); Have U Found What Ur Looking For? (Ashton Irwin song); Don't Forget You Love Me (Calum Hood song); enough (Michael Clifford song); Amnesia; Wrapped Around Your Finger (secret song); English Love Affair; Voodoo Doll; Don't Stop; Jet Black Heart; She Looks So Perfect. Encore: Everyone's a Star!; Youngblood.

Three nights earlier at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá, Colombia ([setlist.fm](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/5-seconds-of-summer/2026/movistar-arena-bogota-colombia-33489075.html)), the set was the same except for the secret song, which was "Chest".

The show runs in acts, and a few things hold across the tour. In setlist.fm's tour statistics, all 41 counted setlists open with "NOT OK" and end with "Youngblood", and 38 close the main set with "She Looks So Perfect". Each member also plays one song from his own solo work, and the slot after "Amnesia" often holds a surprise song that changes from night to night, so the three Manila nights may not be identical.

## Getting there and back

Two of the three shows are on weeknights, so plan around rush-hour traffic into Pasay. The 29 November show is on a Sunday. Our [MOA Arena concert guide](https://whatsonmnl.com/blog/moa-arena-concert-guide) covers how to get to the arena and how to get home after, and our list of [restaurants near the MOA Arena](https://whatsonmnl.com/blog/restaurants-near-moa-arena) has places to eat before doors.
