The show is presented by Wilbros Live, and it is the tour's only Philippine stop ([Daily Tribune](https://tribune.net.ph/2026/10/15/m2m-heads-back-to-manila-for-one-night-concert-in-2027), 15 October 2026). Buy only through TicketNet and its outlets. Shows like this draw resellers on social media, and a ticket bought from an account you cannot check may not get you in. ## Who M2M are M2M are Marit Larsen and Marion Raven (she now spells it Ravn), childhood friends from Lørenskog, just east of Oslo in Norway. They met at a playground at five and were making music together at eight. Atlantic Records signed them in 1998, and their first single, "Don't Say You Love Me", ran over the closing credits of Pokémon: The First Movie in 1999. Then came the album Shades of Purple in 2000, with "Mirror Mirror", "Pretty Boy", "Everything You Do" and "The Day You Went Away", and The Big Room in 2001, with "Everything". They wrote most of their own songs and played their own instruments, which set them apart from most teen pop at the time. In 2020 Taylor Swift named them among the women artists who shaped her. They split in 2002 and spent twenty years on solo careers, until, as Philstar Life tells it, they ran into each other by chance at a cafe in Oslo in April 2024. By that September they had posted a video of the two of them singing together, and in May 2025 they released Still in My Dreams, an EP of their hits recorded again. In the Philippines, "Pretty Boy" never really left. It is a videoke staple, and at the 2025 shows the crowd sang the harmonies back to them. ## M2M and Manila - **28 April 2000, SM Megamall.** A promotional stop with an autograph signing, dated by [Rappler](https://www.rappler.com/entertainment/music/m2m-manila-concert-may-2025/). On stage in 2025 Marion remembered it: "We had an autograph signing. We were just gonna write some autographs, you know. And 10,000 people showed up. It was crazy" ([GMA News](https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/lifestyle/hobbiesandactivities/944724/m2m-in-manila-5-moments-from-the-day-1-concert-that-got-everybody-in-their-feels/story/), 2 May 2025). - **1 and 2 May 2025, Smart Araneta Coliseum.** Their first full concerts in the country, on The Better Endings Tour. Rappler reported that the first night sold out in 20 minutes and the second night, added straight after, sold out too. Wilbros Live then added Davao (SMX Convention Center, 3 May) and Cebu (Waterfront Hotel, 4 May) ([Billboard Philippines](https://billboardphilippines.com/music/features/a-guide-to-2025-concerts-festivals-shows-philippines-manila-tickets/)). Afterwards the duo posted: "Biggest concert of our lives and we got to do it twice!" ([GMA News](https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/showbiz/chikaminute/945133/m2m-calls-philippine-shows-unforgettable-biggest-concert-of-our-lives/story/), 6 May 2025). ## In their own words Announcing TWO, Marit said: "The Better Endings Tour exceeded our wildest dreams. We had no idea how full those rooms would be, or how natural and beautiful it would feel to get the band back together, hearing thousands of people singing these songs at the top of their lungs." And: "I think we both knew, sitting on the floor backstage after our last show, that we had to keep going" ([Bandwagon Asia](https://www.bandwagon.asia/articles/m2m-announce-2027-two-tour-with-stops-in-singapore-manila-hong-kong-jakarta-more), October 2026). Marion: "In this new chapter, we dive deeper into what merging two very connected, yet undeniably different souls and songwriters can mean. We continue to bring different elements to the table, as we always have, but it turns out this time around our shared vision keeps pulling us towards each other. There is some magic there" (same source). At Araneta in 2025, during "Pretty Boy", Marit told the crowd: "You are the most incredible choir in town. The karaoke was really helpful" (GMA News, 2 May 2025). ## What to expect on the night TWO has not started yet; it opens in Singapore on 27 March 2027. The promoters list "The Day You Went Away", "Pretty Boy", "Mirror Mirror", "Don't Say You Love Me" and "Everything You Do" among the songs fans can expect (Daily Tribune), and Bandwagon Asia reports the show has been reworked for this tour, with new, unheard songs debuting in Singapore. For a sense of the night, this is what they played at Araneta on 1 May 2025, as reported by [Philstar](https://www.philstar.com/entertainment/2025/05/09/2441545/m2ms-reunion-brings-better-ending-duo-and-their-pinoy-fans) and GMA News. It is a past show, not a promise for 2027. - Opened with "The Day You Went Away", then "Everything You Do", with the crowd split in two for the chorus - "Pretty Boy" on two acoustic guitars, which Marion dedicated to her young son - "Mirror Mirror" with the full band, and "What You Do About Me", with Marion walking out among the crowd - Solo songs from both of them, including Marit's "Under the Surface" and "If a Song Could Get Me You", plus Marion's take on Celine Dion's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" - "Everything" to close the main set, then an encore of "Don't Mess With My Love", added because fans asked for it, and "Don't Say You Love Me" ## Getting there and back Araneta is in the middle of Cubao, and both the MRT-3 and the LRT-2 stop at Araneta Center-Cubao, so the train is the easy way in. It is a Friday night, so the roads into Cubao will be at their worst from late afternoon.
