*Seven BGC cafes where you can actually stay and work, with what we could confirm about wifi, sockets, noise and opening hours, from 6am starts to 2am finishes.*

The quietest cafes to work from in BGC (Bonifacio Global City) are [Frank & Dean Coffee](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/frank-dean-coffee) on 31st Street and [Masa Madre Bakehouse](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/masa-madre-bakehouse) on 11th Avenue, both with sockets to work from. For an early start, Frank & Dean opens at 6am on weekdays and [The Fat Seed](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/the-fat-seed-cafe-roastery) at 7am. For late nights, [Auro Chocolate Cafe](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/auro-chocolate-cafe-bgc) and [Cafe 32nd St](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/cafe-32nd-st) stay open past midnight, and for a long day with proper food, go to [Common Man Coffee Roasters](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/common-man-coffee-roasters-bgc) or [Single Origin](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/single-origin).

Updated October 2026.

Every cafe below was open as of this update, checked against its own website or a 2026 source. We only say a place has wifi or power when a 2025 or 2026 source says so, and we say when we could not confirm it. BGC is still a harder place to work than Legazpi or Salcedo in Makati: the rooms are good looking, but plenty of them are loud at lunch and short on sockets. For the city-wide list, see [the best cafes to work from in Manila](https://whatsonmnl.com/blog/best-cafes-to-work-from-manila).

## For quiet, heads-down work

**[Frank & Dean Coffee](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/frank-dean-coffee)** is a favourite with people who work from cafes. The main branch on the ground floor of Five/Neo is bright and quiet by day, with good wifi and sockets around the room; a 2026 guide says the corner seats by the window have the most reliable outlets. It opens at 6am on weekdays and runs to 2am, so it covers both ends of a working day. It gets busy after about 8pm.
G/F Five Neo Building, 31st Street. ₱₱. Monday to Friday 6am to 2am, Saturday 6am to 10pm, closed Sunday. Tip: come in the morning if you want a quiet table.

**[Masa Madre Bakehouse](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/masa-madre-bakehouse)** is pastry chef Kris Edison Tan's bakery cafe on the ground floor of the Cocolight Building, a little away from the High Street crowds. Behind the counter is a large seating area with plenty of tables and outlets, and the croissants are the reason most people come.
G/F Cocolight Building, 11th Avenue. ₱₱. Daily, 8am to 10pm. Tip: weekday mornings are the calmest.

## For an early start

**[The Fat Seed Cafe + Roastery](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/the-fat-seed-cafe-roastery)** roasts its own beans and sits away from the High Street crowds, across from Terra 28th Park. The wifi is fast and the room is laid-back, but tables fill at lunch, so come at 7am or after 2:30pm.
G/F One Maridien, 9th Avenue corner 27th Street. ₱₱₱. Daily from 7am. Good to know: call (02) 7001 1862 to check a table for a group.

## For working late

**[Auro Chocolate Cafe](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/auro-chocolate-cafe-bgc)** is the flagship of the Davao bean-to-bar chocolate maker, in a warm orange room on the ground floor of One Maridien, next to The Fat Seed. Recent guides praise its fast internet and plentiful sockets. It opens at 7am and stays open to midnight early in the week and 1am from Thursday.
G/F One Maridien Tower, 27th Street. ₱₱. Monday to Wednesday 7am to midnight, Thursday to Sunday 7am to 1am. Tip: weekday mornings are the quietest; evenings pick up.

**[Cafe 32nd St](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/cafe-32nd-st)** on the ground floor of Menarco Tower has outlets at most seats and decent wifi, and on most visits the room is full of laptops. It stays open until 1am from Monday to Thursday and 2am on Friday and Saturday, which makes it one of the best late study spots in BGC.
G/F Menarco Tower, 32nd Street. ₱₱. Monday to Thursday 7am to 1am, Friday 7am to 2am, Saturday 10am to 2am, Sunday 10am to midnight. Good to know: weekend opening is 10am.

## For a long day with proper food

**[Common Man Coffee Roasters](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/common-man-coffee-roasters-bgc)**, the Singapore roaster, opened at West Gallery Place on 28th Street around the start of 2026. It is bright and open, with large communal tables, wifi and power outlets, and an all-day brunch menu, so you can stay through lunch. It costs more than most, and it hosts occasional afternoon DJ coffee parties.
G/F West Gallery Place, 28th Street. ₱₱₱. Call 0956 622 9237 to book. Tip: check its Instagram for event days before you bring a laptop.

**[Single Origin](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/single-origin)** at Bonifacio High Street Central is open from 7am to midnight every day, Sunday included, with wifi, outlets indoors and a full kitchen. It is busy at meal times and in the evening, so it is better for heads-down work than calls.
C3 Building, Bonifacio High Street Central, 7th Avenue. ₱₱. Daily, 7am to midnight. Good to know: pets are welcome on the al fresco side only.

## When a cafe is not enough

If you have a day of video calls, a cafe will let you down. Book a desk instead: our guide to [coworking in BGC and Makati](https://whatsonmnl.com/blog/coworking-spaces-bgc-makati) lists day passes from about ₱450, and [where to work from in Manila](https://whatsonmnl.com/blog/where-to-work-from-manila) sorts cafes and coworking spaces by neighbourhood. For a slower weekend, see [brunch in BGC and Makati](https://whatsonmnl.com/blog/best-brunch-in-bgc-and-makati), and find more places nearby on the [BGC neighbourhood page](https://whatsonmnl.com/neighborhood/bgc) and our [eat and drink hub](https://whatsonmnl.com/eat-drink).

## Before you go

- **When to go.** Weekday mornings are the calmest almost everywhere. The lunch rush, roughly 11:30am to 1:30pm, is when outlet seats disappear.
- **Time limits.** None of these cafes posts a laptop time limit that we could find. The fair trade is to order something every two hours or so and give up a big table at lunch.
- **Wifi.** Passwords are usually on your receipt or at the counter. Bring a phone hotspot anyway, especially at Masa Madre, where we could not confirm wifi.
- **Calls.** Frank & Dean in the morning is the calmest for a quick call. For anything longer, step outside or book a coworking booth.
- **Getting there.** Most of these are a short walk from Bonifacio High Street. Frank & Dean is on 31st Street, The Fat Seed and Auro share One Maridien near Terra 28th Park, and Masa Madre is further north on 11th Avenue.
- **Payment.** Bring a card and some cash for the smaller cafes.
