*Evening Simbang Gabi Masses at SM Megamall, SM Aura, Greenbelt, Opus, Uptown Mall, Shangri-La Plaza and more. No mall had posted 2026 times on 4 November, so here are last year's, clearly marked.*

Many Metro Manila malls hold evening Simbang Gabi Masses in their chapels or atriums, usually from 15 to 23 December, so you can go straight from work or shopping. No mall had posted its 2026 schedule when we checked on 4 November 2026. Below are last year's (2025) times, grouped by mall group, so you know roughly what to expect. We will add the 2026 times as each mall posts them.

Updated 4 November 2026.

## The essentials

- **Evening series, if the usual pattern holds:** Tuesday 15 to Wednesday 23 December 2026. Dawn Masses run from Wednesday 16 to Thursday 24 December.
- **Typical mall times last year:** 6PM to 8PM.
- **Mall chapels covered here:** SM Megamall, SM Aura, SM Makati, Greenbelt, Opus, Uptown Mall, Shangri-La Plaza, Greenhills, Power Plant and Araneta City.
- **2026 status:** no mall schedule and no Archdiocese of Manila circular when we checked on 4 November 2026.
- **For parish churches,** see our [Simbang Gabi 2026 guide](https://whatsonmnl.com/blog/simbang-gabi-manila-2026).

## How mall Masses work

Mall Masses are the evening, or anticipated, Masses: each one is said the night before that day's dawn Mass.

Two rules from last year's Archdiocese of Manila circular are worth knowing. Evening Masses could start as early as 6PM. And a Simbang Gabi Mass outside a parish church, shrine or chaplaincy needed the Archbishop's explicit permission, so a mall can drop or change a slot from one year to the next. The circular also said a Sunday evening Mass does not anticipate Monday. In 2026 that is Sunday 20 December, so ask the chapel how it counts that night.

## SM malls

SM's own chapels are at SM Megamall, SM Aura Premier, SM Makati, SM City North EDSA and SM City Grand Central, according to the SM Foundation.

## Before you go

**Check the mall's page the week before.** Last year the mall lists came out between 2 and 17 December.

**Arrive early.** Mall chapels are small.

**Check mall hours for 24 December.** Malls post their own Christmas Eve hours, so check before planning a Christmas Eve Mass there.

## Questions people ask

**Is there Simbang Gabi at SM malls in 2026?**
SM has not posted 2026 times yet. Last year SM Megamall's chapel held it at 6:30PM, SM Aura at 6PM and 8PM, and SM Makati at 7:30PM, all from 15 to 23 December.

**What time is Simbang Gabi in malls?**
Last year most mall Masses started between 6PM and 8PM. Greenbelt Chapel and Eastwood's St. John Paul II Parish also held 5AM dawn Masses.

**Is there Simbang Gabi at Ayala Malls?**
Yes, last year at Greenbelt Chapel, at 5AM and 8PM. Ayala had not posted 2026 times when we checked on 4 November 2026, and we found no Ayala Triangle Gardens listing.

**When does the mall Simbang Gabi start in 2026?**
If the usual pattern holds, the first evening Mass is on Tuesday 15 December 2026 and the last on Wednesday 23 December. Malls had not confirmed when we checked on 4 November.

**Does an evening Mass in a mall count toward the nine?**
Evening Masses anticipate the next day's dawn Mass, except on Sunday evening. Last year's Archdiocese of Manila circular said a Sunday evening Mass uses the Sunday readings. Ask the chapel how it counts Sunday 20 December.

_All times above are from 2025, as posted by the malls and reported by SPOT, PhilSTAR Life, Interaksyon and GMA News, except the Ayala Malls group and Robinsons Magnolia times, which are from 2024 (Rappler). Check each mall before you go. Nobody paid to be included._
