*Eight places for vegan and vegetarian food in Metro Manila, from fully vegan kitchens in Poblacion and Legazpi Village to Teachers Village and the vegetarian menus worth booking in BGC, each labelled fully vegan, vegetarian or vegetarian-friendly, checked October 2026.*

For vegan food in Manila, start in Makati. Cosmic in Poblacion cooks fully vegan Filipino food, sisig and kare-kare included, and shares its room with Gnostic, an alcohol-free vegan bar. Green Bar in Legazpi Village has been fully vegan since 2014 and opens at 8am for breakfast, and iVegan nearby is the sit-down choice for a group. Corner Tree Café, vegetarian since 2009, now sits above El Chupacabra in Poblacion, and Wabi-Sabi Noodle House is the answer for vegetarian ramen in Makati. In Quezon City, Pipino on Malingap Street cooks Filipino dishes without meat. In BGC we could not confirm a fully vegan dining room open in October 2026, so we point you to two places with a real vegetarian menu: Gallery by Chele and Indus.

Updated October 2026.

A note on labels. We say **fully vegan** only where the place says everything on the menu is plant-based. **Vegetarian** means no meat or fish, but eggs and dairy may be on the plate. **Vegetarian-friendly** means a restaurant that also serves meat but has a proper vegetarian menu. When in doubt, ask, because recipes change.

## Poblacion, Makati: the easiest night out

Poblacion has the most plant-based places within walking distance of each other, and it is where most visitors to Makati end up at night anyway. Our [date night guide to Poblacion](https://whatsonmnl.com/blog/date-night-poblacion) has where to go after.

**Cosmic** is fully vegan and has cooked Filipino comfort food without meat since 2018. Order the sisig, the kare-kare and the sinigang, the dishes people come back for. In 2026 it moved in with Gnostic, the team's vegan bar with no alcohol, so you can order a mocktail or a non-alcoholic beer with dinner. There is a second Cosmic on San Rafael Street in Kapitolyo, Pasig.
4F, 4980 P. Guanzon Street, Poblacion, Makati. ₱₱. Monday and Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 10pm; closed Tuesday. Good to know: it is upstairs, so look for the sign and take the lift.

**[Corner Tree Café](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/corner-tree-cafe)** is vegetarian, not fully vegan, and has fed Makati since 2009. After 15 years on Jupiter Street it moved to the second floor of 5782 Felipe Street, above El Chupacabra, and the room is still quiet, with old jazz on the speakers. Dishes are labelled vegan or vegetarian. The Arroz a la Cubana, made with minced tofu, is the most ordered dish; the spinach and mushroom lasagna has cheese, and the vegan nut roast does not.
2F, 5782 Felipe Street, Poblacion, Makati. ₱₱. Daily, 11am to 10pm. Good to know: the stairs are steep, so it is not the place for anyone who cannot climb.

## Legazpi Village and the rest of Makati

**[Green Bar](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/green-bar)** is fully vegan and was started in 2014 by sisters Jaderani and Sarada Santos. The kitchen makes its own plant-based meats, cheeses, sauces and breads, and the menu leans Southern California: a breakfast burrito at ₱540, buffalo cauliflower wings at ₱440, burgers from ₱495 and bowls around ₱550. The pastry counter is the reason to remember it: daily donuts, cinnamon rolls, a ₱180 slice of cake, and whole cakes from ₱1,005 if you need a vegan birthday cake in Makati (prices from its online menu, October 2026).
106 Aguirre Street, Legazpi Village, Makati. ₱₱. Sunday to Thursday 8am to 10pm; Friday and Saturday 8am to 11pm. Tip: call 0917 808 2506 to order a whole cake ahead.

**[iVegan](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/ivegan)** is a fully vegan, sit-down restaurant on the ground floor of Plaza 100, open since 2019. The menu is long: adobo at ₱440, kare-kare at ₱490, spring rolls, maki, gyoza, bibimbap and pizza, with beer and wine. One 2026 review calls it pricier than most vegan places in the city and another praises the service, so it suits a group dinner more than a quick lunch.
Unit 106, Plaza 100 Building, V.A. Rufino Street corner Dela Rosa Street, Legazpi Village, Makati. ₱₱. Daily, 8am to 10pm. Good to know: book on +63 917 104 0490.

**[Wabi-Sabi Noodle House](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/wabi-sabi-noodle-house)** is a vegetarian noodle house in Makati Cinema Square, and the place to go if you searched for vegan ramen in Makati. It cooks Japanese-style ramen and gyoza, plus bao, banh mi and tom yum, and almost every dish can be made vegan if you ask. There are condiments at the table to adjust your bowl, and a shelf of vegetarian groceries to take home.
UG-4, Makati Cinema Square, Chino Roces Avenue corner Fernando Street, Makati. ₱. Daily, 12pm to 9pm. Good to know: cash only.

## Quezon City: Teachers Village and Tomas Morato

Teachers Village, close to the universities, has long been Quezon City's plant-based corner. Our [guide to Maginhawa Street](https://whatsonmnl.com/blog/maginhawa-food-and-cafes) covers the rest of the area.

**[Pipino at Pino](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/pino-restaurant)** is the vegetarian sister of Pino, at the same address on Malingap Street, and has been the plant-based stop in Teachers Village for years. The menu takes Filipino dishes like kare-kare and sisig and cooks them without meat. Because Pino serves its meat menu in the same building, it is the easy pick for a table of vegans and meat eaters together.
39 Malingap Street, Teachers Village East, Diliman, Quezon City. ₱₱. Good to know: call +63 945 238 5437 for big groups, and if you are strictly vegan, say so when you order.

Near Tomas Morato, Wabi-Sabi Noodle House, above, has a second branch on Scout Madriñan Street.

## BGC: vegetarian-friendly, not vegan

Shaka at Burgos Circle, the fully vegan cafe BGC used to point to, closed in 2025. These two serve meat, but each has a full vegetarian menu worth booking.

**[Gallery by Chele](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/gallery-by-chele)** holds a MICHELIN star and has a full vegetarian tasting menu: there is no à la carte, and the six and ten course menus each come in a vegetarian or a fish and meat version, built on Philippine produce. Six courses are ₱5,800 and ten are ₱7,200, VAT included, plus 10% service.
5F Clipp Center, 11th Avenue corner 39th Street, BGC, Taguig. ₱₱₱₱. Tuesday dinner; Wednesday to Sunday lunch and dinner; closed Monday. Good to know: tell them when you book, because the whole table orders the same menu.

**[Indus Modern Indian Kitchen](https://whatsonmnl.com/place/indus-modern-indian-kitchen)** on 25th Street has a Vegetarian Feast set at ₱1,900 nett a person, for two or more: paneer tikka, mustard broccoli, aloo gobhi, dal makhani, palak paneer, vegetable biryani and breads. Most of it uses dairy, so it is vegetarian, not vegan.
25th Street corner 5th Avenue, BGC, Taguig. ₱₱. Daily, 11am to 10:30pm. Tip: book on +63 917 311 1312 for dinner.

## Before you go

- **Say it plainly.** In Filipino kitchens, "vegetarian" can still mean fish sauce, shrimp paste (bagoong) or a pork broth. At places that also cook meat, ask for "no meat, no fish, no egg, no dairy" if you are vegan.
- **When to go.** Green Bar and iVegan open at 8am for breakfast. Wabi-Sabi opens at noon. Cosmic is closed on Tuesdays.
- **Booking.** Most of these are walk-in. Book Gallery by Chele well ahead, and call Indus or iVegan for a group dinner.
- **Payment.** Wabi-Sabi is cash only. Cosmic and Green Bar take cards.
- **Getting there.** Poblacion is easiest by Grab; set the drop-off on the street name, since the one-way streets confuse drivers. For Teachers Village, set Malingap Street.
