The Ayala Museum is the private museum that anchors Filipino art and history in Makati. Its pre-colonial gold collection, Gold of Ancestors, and the sixty handcrafted history dioramas are the reasons to come. A two-year renovation reopened the building in late 2021 with a digital gallery and cleaner display.

## Why go

1. Gold of Ancestors holds over a thousand pre-colonial gold objects, the best such collection in the country
2. The sixty dioramas walk you through Philippine history in one floor
3. Strong rotating shows of Filipino modern and contemporary art
