Chotto Matcha was started in Manila by two Japanese sisters, beginning with a few seats in Little Tokyo in Makati, and now runs four cafes here and a flagship in Asakusa, Tokyo. The matcha comes from family-run tea farms in Shizuoka, and the team whisks it at the counter.

The Forbestown branch is on the restaurant strip in BGC and stays open late, to midnight on weeknights and 1am from Friday to Sunday, which makes it the easy matcha stop after dinner.
