Friuli has made pizza and pasta on Maginhawa since the early 2000s. It began as the cheap Italian place for students from the nearby campuses and kept a loyal crowd of every age as the street grew around it.

The pizzas are thin and generous. Start with the Tre Formaggi, the bestseller, with mozzarella, cheddar and blue cheese. It also stays open late, which makes it the dependable dinner when you have stayed on the street longer than planned.
