Mendokoro Ramenba is the Manila ramen bar most people measure the others against, from Nippon Hasha, the group that also runs Ramen Yushoken and Marudori. This branch on the ground floor of Mitsukoshi Mall in BGC has a long counter that wraps around the open kitchen under a ceiling hung with wooden ramen spoons.

The bowls are rich tonkotsu, pork bone broth, seasoned with soy (shoyu) or salt (shio), with soft chashu. The original branch is in Salcedo Village, Makati.
