The cocktail lounge on the upper floor of The Peninsula Manila, done as a set of opulent, deliberately theatrical rooms. Live bands play through the evening, the list runs to champagne by the glass alongside signature cocktails built on local spirits, and the dress code is smart casual. It is the closest Makati gets to a proper grown-up night out that does not involve queueing.

## Why go

1. Live music through the evening rather than a DJ and a volume war
2. Champagne and cocktails by the glass, in a room built for sitting down
3. Smart casual, inside a hotel, with valet parking downstairs
