Seafood 8 by Olio's is a modern take on the dampa, the Filipino seafood market where you pick your catch and have it cooked. It soft-opened at Gateway Mall 2 in Araneta City in August 2026 and held its grand opening on 18 September. Chef Oli Buenviaje, from Sorsogon, cooked in seafood kitchens in Australia, France and Asia before this, his first restaurant in the Philippines.

Choose from live tanks and fish on ice, pick grilled, fried, steamed or baked, then one of eight house sauces, which give the place its name. The room is big, about 130 seats, with an open kitchen.
