Shizu calls itself a contemporary tea house, and every drink is made with first flush matcha, ichibancha, the first and finest harvest of the season, whisked to order. The matcha and hojicha menu is long, from a plain latte that tastes like a good one made at home to a malted milk matcha latte, a matcha tonic with yuzu and a cold whisk dango.

This is the Scout Rallos branch; the first is on General Tinio in Caloocan. There are sandwiches, pasta and mains too, so it works for a meal.
