Halloween With Kids in Manila 2026: Trick-or-Treats and Costume Parties
The family Halloween parties with confirmed 2026 dates, from Okada's carnival and Kingsford's movie-themed party to SM's trick-or-treat on the day itself, plus what to bring.
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and the first family parties in Metro Manila are already selling tickets. Here are the kids' events with confirmed 2026 dates as of 3 October, with prices and booking details where the organiser has published them, plus what we know so far about the malls closer to BGC, Makati, Rockwell and Ortigas.
Okada Manila: a full morning or afternoon in one ballroom
The Halloween Spooky Carnival from the Okada Kids Club is the most complete package on this list. It takes over the Golden Ballroom with game stations, arts and crafts, a photo booth, character encounters, a short stage programme with raffle draws, and an hour-long Halloween dance party to close each session. Every child pass includes a loot bag, and snacks and drinks are included for both children and adults.
There are two sessions each day, so pick the one that fits nap times. The morning session suits younger children who fade after lunch; the afternoon session suits older ones.
- When: Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October. Morning session 9am to 12 noon (registration from 7:30am), afternoon session 3pm to 6pm (registration from 1:30pm).
- Where: Golden Ballroom, Okada Manila, Entertainment City, Parañaque.
- Tickets: Child pass ₱2,388, adult pass ₱888, on sale until 23 October at the Okada Kids Club counter and through Okada's Relax Hotline. The early bird bundle closed on 15 September.
- Good to know: Only adults who are with a child can register. Children 12 and under must stay with a guardian aged 18 or over. A child who has had a fever in the last 24 hours will not be let in. Child passes bought in the name of a PWD (person with disability) cardholder get 20% off.
Kingsford Hotel Manila: Harriwood, for families who love a costume
Harriwood: The Thriller on Set at Kingsford Hotel Manila has a movie theme. The hotel's mascot, Harri, plays a film director, and children and parents are asked to come dressed as a favourite hero, villain or animated character. The afternoon includes Halloween food and treats, games, trick-or-treating, a costume competition and loot bags.
It is shorter than Okada's carnival and cheaper per child, which makes it a good first Halloween party for a toddler.
- When: Saturday 24 October, 3pm to 5pm.
- Where: Kingsford Ballroom, Kingsford Hotel Manila, Entertainment City, Parañaque.
- Tickets: ₱1,600 per adult, ₱900 per child aged 2 to 11. The hotel says children under 2 go in free.
- How to book: By SMS or Viber to the hotel's room reservations (+63 917 859 5307) or banquets team (+63 917 805 3585).
- Staying over: The Harriwood Stay Package is ₱7,999 nett for a Deluxe Room, buffet breakfast for two, two event tickets, 10% off up to three extra tickets and late check-out until 2pm on 25 October.
Okada and Kingsford are both in Entertainment City, near NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport). From Makati or BGC, allow about an hour by car on a Saturday, more if traffic is heavy. If you want a long Halloween day on the 24th, Okada's morning session and Kingsford's afternoon party do not overlap.
SM Supermalls: trick-or-treating on Halloween itself
SM closes its October kids' month with Spooktacular Halloween on 30 and 31 October. It combines a costume contest, a Halloween fair selling toys, costumes and sweets, and trick-or-treating. Five costume contest winners each receive ₱5,000 in SM gift certificates.
- When: 30 to 31 October. Trick-or-treat runs on Saturday 31 October at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
- Where: Participating SM malls. SM has not yet published which branches take part, so check the page of your nearest branch, such as SM Aura in BGC, SM Makati or SM Megamall in Ortigas, before you go.
- How to join: SM has not announced how children register or whether there is a fee or receipt requirement. It says more details will be posted on @smsupermalls and by each mall.
If your nearest SM takes part, this is the option that keeps you on your side of the city on Halloween day itself.
What about BGC, Makati, Rockwell and Ortigas?
When we checked on 3 October, we could not find a 2026 Halloween programme from the big malls in these areas. Last year, Shangri-La Plaza in Ortigas ran a detective-themed activity trail for children aged 3 to 12, Power Plant Mall in Rockwell ran a spy-themed mission with a mall-wide trick-or-treat at The Fifth, and Greenbelt in Makati held trick-or-treating on Halloween day. Shangri-La Plaza charged a registration fee and Power Plant Mall asked each child to have a paid kit.
Last year's events are not a promise for this year. Follow your nearest mall's social pages through October, and register the day sign-ups open. We will add confirmed dates to our calendar as they are announced.
How to plan the day
- Book early. Hotel parties sell by session, and mall trick-or-treats often cap the number of children.
- Pick a costume your child can walk in. Trick-or-treat routes in malls are long, and ballrooms get warm. Breathable fabric and comfortable shoes matter more than detail.
- Bring a bucket or bag, wet wipes, a water bottle and a change of clothes for small children.
- Check the treats. Okada asks parents to check sweets for allergens such as peanuts, dairy and seafood before children eat them, which is good practice anywhere.
- Leave early on 31 October. All Saints' Day is the next day, when many families travel to cemeteries and out of the city, so expect heavier traffic around malls and on the main roads that weekend.
We chose these because each has a confirmed 2026 date from the organiser or a news report quoting them. We will update this guide as more mall and village programmes are confirmed.
Halloween is on a Saturday this year. Okada's Spooky Carnival (24 to 25 Oct) and Kingsford's movie-themed Harriwood party (24 Oct) have dates and prices out now, and SM has set trick-or-treat times for the 31st. Our guide has times, tickets and what to bring.
