By What's On Manila editors

Simple Plan play the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Wednesday 25 November 2026 at 8:00 PM. It is one night only, a stop on The Bigger Than You Think! Tour for the band's 25th anniversary, with Canadian artist LØLØ as the special guest. Tickets run from ₱1,300 (General Admission) to ₱6,500 (VIP Seated), sold by Ticketnet.

Checked 5 November 2026.

It is the band's first Manila show in three years. The last one, in 2023 on the Harder Than It Looks tour, was at the New Frontier Theater, just meters from the Big Dome.

The essentials

  • Date: Wednesday 25 November 2026, 8:00 PM, as listed on Ticketnet
  • Venue: Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City
  • Tour: The Bigger Than You Think! Tour
  • Special guest: LØLØ
  • Tickets: ₱1,300 to ₱6,500, through Ticketnet online and Ticketnet outlets
  • Presented by: Midas Promotions and Wilbros Live
  • The band: Pierre Bouvier, Chuck Comeau, Jeff Stinco and Sébastien Lefebvre

A Wednesday show means most people come straight from work or school. Plan the trip before you leave the office.

Ticket prices

These are the prices on Ticketnet's event page for the show. GMA News reported that the prices are inclusive of ticketing charges.

  • VIP Seated: ₱6,500
  • VIP Standing: ₱5,500
  • Patron Box: ₱5,500
  • Lower Box A: ₱4,500
  • Lower Box B: ₱3,500
  • Upper Box: ₱2,500
  • General Admission: ₱1,300

Wilbros Live posted the seat plan with the prices in April, and When In Manila reported both. For what each level of the Big Dome is like to sit in, see our guide to concerts at the Araneta Coliseum.

How to buy

Ticketnet is the seller. GMA News reported that tickets are available "via TicketNet.com.ph and TicketNet outlets nationwide". The artist presale was on Monday 4 May 2026 at 11 AM and the general sale opened on Tuesday 5 May 2026 at 11 AM, so tickets have been on sale for six months.

We could not see which sections are left. Ticketnet's page did not show availability when we checked on 5 November. Buy only from Ticketnet or its outlets. Resold tickets on social media are a common way to lose money before a big show.

VIP upgrades from the band

The tour poster says "Tickets and VIP upgrades available at officialsimpleplan.com". The band's VIP page lists two upgrades, both sold on top of a concert ticket ("Ticket Not Included"):

  • Pizza Party and Q&A Upgrade: a pre-show Q&A with the band, a group photo, time to hang out with them with selfie chances, and a Simple Plan tote bag.
  • The Ultimate VIP Experience Upgrade: a backstage meet and greet with individual selfies and a photo with the whole band, watching the set from side-stage or a set area, a signed set list and guitar picks, a commemorative ticket and a group photo sent after the show.

The page also says "VIP contents/specifics may vary depending on territory", and that 1 dollar from every VIP purchase goes to the Simple Plan Foundation. The band's site does not list upgrade prices, and says upgrades are "as described on VIP purchase page", so check what is on offer for 25 November there before you pay.

What they will play

The Manila setlist is not announced yet (checked 5 November 2026). In the statement that announced the tour, quoted by Philstar, the band said the set would include their "biggest songs from every era of their career, a ton of fan favorites, and songs rarely played live." The band added, "We're celebrating our 25th anniversary as a band so these shows will be very special."

That points to the songs most people in the Big Dome will know:

  • "I'm Just a Kid", "I'd Do Anything", "Addicted" and "Perfect" from the 2002 debut, No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls
  • "Welcome to My Life", "Untitled (How Could This Happen to Me?)" and "Shut Up!"
  • "Jet Lag" and "Summer Paradise"
  • "What's New Scooby-Doo?"

Manila comes after Kuala Lumpur on 21 November and Singapore on 22 November. Those two shows will be the best guide to the set, a few days before ours.

Who is LØLØ

LØLØ is a Canadian artist and the special guest on this run. Philstar reported that LØLØ has toured with Simple Plan several times since 2021, on the joint Pop Punk's Still Not Dead tour with New Found Glory. The start time of LØLØ's set is not announced yet.

The rest of the Asian tour

Midas Promotions lists six dates in Asia:

  • 21 November: Kuala Lumpur, Idea Live Arena
  • 22 November: Singapore, Indoor Stadium
  • 25 November: Manila, Araneta Coliseum
  • 27 November: Jakarta, Tennis Indoor Senayan
  • 28 November: Surabaya, JATIM Expo
  • 1 December: Hong Kong, AXA Wonderland

Getting there, and eating first

Our Araneta Coliseum concert guide covers trains, gates and getting home, which matters more than usual on a weeknight. For food before the show, see where to eat in Cubao before Araneta. The show also has a page in our listings: Simple Plan at the Araneta Coliseum.
