About this event

Once a month the FDCP gives an evening at its new Cinematheque Centre Manila in Intramuros to a single acclaimed Filipino filmmaker, pairing a chosen screening with a talkback in which the director explains the work and the thinking behind it. The 80-seat hall has a 2K laser projector and Dolby Atmos, so the films are seen as intended. The April debut featured Antoinette Jadaone with a double bill of her first film and her recent feature Sunshine. This is among the most considered film programs in the city and worth crossing town for if you follow Philippine cinema, though the featured director and exact date are confirmed close to each event on FDCP channels, so check before you plan the night.
