Why go
Buying a piece you can trace back to its weaver

Good to know
Go on the first morning if you want the strongest pieces, since the best cloth sells out by day two. Prices sit above mall rates because you are paying for handloom work, so bring a card as well as cash. One Ayala connects directly to the EDSA and Ayala stations, which makes this one of the few fairs you can reach without a car.
About this event
The Philippine Textile Council brings handloom weavers and the brands that work with them into one hall for three days, with pina, abaca, inabel and locally grown cotton sold by the people who made them. The sixteenth edition runs under the line Worth Every Thread and moves to SPACE at One Ayala. Weavers travel in from Ilocos, the Visayas and Mindanao, so it is the easiest place in the year to ask where a cloth comes from and get a real answer.
