About this event

León Gallery's flagship mid-year sale brings together historically important, museum-quality Philippine art, with lots by names such as Fernando Amorsolo and Anita Magsaysay-Ho. The free public preview in the days before the auction is a serious exhibition in its own right, a chance to see major works up close before they pass into private collections. It is one of the clearest windows onto the canon of Philippine modern and contemporary art, worth crossing town for whether you collect or simply want to understand the field. The preview runs 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM; the auction itself begins at 2:00 PM on June 13 at the gallery in Legazpi Village, Makati.
