About this event

The Philippines' leading festival of untried, unstaged one-act plays returns for its twenty-first edition, with twelve new works on the theme Hubo't Hubad, how people lay their true selves bare. Most of the playwrights are first-timers, and the program adds staged readings, theatre talks, and presentations from Taiwan and Japan, with a cast that includes Glaiza de Castro and Jackie Lou Blanco. It runs almost a month in the intimate CCP Black Box Theater, so an after-work 8:00 PM gala is easy to fit in. This is the room for anyone who wants to see where the next generation of Filipino dramatists is heading, and a strong choice for a date or for visiting family with an interest in the arts.
