Cabel fills Casa Roces, a listed 1930s house beside Malacañang in San Miguel, with its original tiled floors, rattan chairs, a garden and a koi pond. The Cabel Moreno family, whose roots run to Sulu, cooks food from across the Philippines with a lean toward southern Mindanao. Order the crisp ukoy and the richly spiced piyanggang manok.
