Cattery is the third room from Ron and Fifi Cruz, the couple behind Fat Cat, opened in 2025 one floor below their agave bar El Gato in Makati Central Square on Chino Roces Avenue. The idea comes from NPR's Tiny Desk: 35 seats, a drum kit and a shelf of figurines at the back, and a live set most nights with no door charge, only a one-drink minimum. Writer Pam Pastor is among the partners. Cocktails are ₱500 plus a 10 percent service charge; the boozy slushies and the karaage are what people talk about. Wednesday is open mic. Walk in on a weeknight, or message ahead for the busy nights. It is dim and people do listen.
