The Poblacion anchor, and the one that has been championing Philippine coffee the longest. Rosario Juan has run Commune on 100 per cent local beans for over a decade, sourcing from growing regions around the country and teaching people to brew it. It is two storeys with big windows over the Poblacion streets, an events space and a balcony, and it hosts meetups, talks and improv through the week. Daylight hours are the calm ones, before the neighbourhood turns into a bar district.
