Japanese-Peruvian cooking on Don Pedro Street under chef Luis Higa, who was born in Japan and spent years cooking in Peru. Sushi and yakitori share the menu with ceviche and ají, and the cocktail list is taken as seriously as the food. One of the more polished rooms in Poblacion, and a better dinner than the street around it suggests.
Why go
- 01Nikkei cooking from a chef who learned it in both countries, not from a trend piece
- 02A design-forward room, dressier than most of Poblacion
- 03Opens at 5 PM, so it works as dinner before the area gets loud
