Offbeat Bistro is a modern Filipino restaurant on the second floor of The Shops at Ayala Triangle Gardens, run by chefs Angelo Comsti and Don Baldosano. They rework traditional Filipino recipes with playful flair: the monghe, a dish with street food roots, comes as crisp blocks of minced pork, cheese and egg jam, and the piaparan fish is inspired by Maranao cooking. The room has red walls, blue accents and an open kitchen, a nod to the red takas of Paete, Laguna.

  • 02The monghe and the fish piaparan, both singled out by the MICHELIN inspectors
