People's Palace is a Thai restaurant beside Greenbelt Park, owned by Riselaw, the same company behind Sala, and billed as modern Thai by chef Colin Mackay; Michelin notes a Filipino chef in the kitchen. The menu sticks to Thai classics cooked without MSG: tom yum goong, homemade curries, crispy belly pork with sticky rice. The room is high ceilinged and minimal, with garden seating by the park that gives it a resort feel.
