Pinoy Accent is a 30-seat Filipino wine bar that chef Jorge Mendez opened on 1 July 2026 at The Ignacia Place in Diliman. The cooking takes dishes Filipinos know and shows them from a new angle, and sommelier Ian Santos built the wine list to match their salt, fat and sourness. Start with chicken liver pâté with latik, tuba jelly and langka gel, then the wagyu pancit, and finish with the pastillas cheesecake. October brought new plates, angel hair sisig and tuna dinakdakan among them, and a cocktail list with a Sampaloc Sour. The room is burgundy velvet, dark wood and capiz-shell lamps.
