Rekdi is the three floor restaurant filmmaker Erik Matti opened in February 2026 with co-owner Adelina Leung, in an old apartment on Pagulayan Street. It calls itself a modern karinderya. The ground floor holds the bar, Yagangyang at Rekdi, the second floor serves grilled plates, noodles and vegetables, and the third is built around an open grill with counter seats. Delish picked out the grilled cabbage with salted egg and parmesan, and the Rekdi BBQ comes with kansi onion soup. Grilled plates run ₱310 to ₱595, cocktails ₱380 to ₱550. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 6pm to 1am, closed Monday. Reservations are by text message or Instagram message, and there is no online booking.
