Sakagura is the Nikkei Group's sake bar and izakaya on the second floor of One Bonifacio High Street, near the stock exchange in BGC. A long counter runs under shelves of more than 50 premium sakes, and the kitchen works through sushi, sashimi, hand rolls and robatayaki, with fish flown in from Japan. It is not a set omakase counter, but it is a gentler way into the same food: order the chef's choice nigiri or sashimi at the bar and let the sommelier pick a sake. The kitchen also runs omakase and seasonal specials paired with a sake of the month, so ask what is on.
