Escape Rooms in Manila: Prices, Group Sizes and Which Rooms Are Scary
Mystery Manila, Breakout, LOST and Left Behind: where their branches are, what a game costs per head (₱400 to ₱750), how many can play and which rooms are horror.
Metro Manila has four escape room companies whose own sites list branches and current rates (checked 8 November 2026): Mystery Manila (Century City Mall in Makati, Eastwood in Quezon City and SM Podium in Ortigas), Breakout Philippines (Shangri-La Plaza and Park Triangle in BGC), LOST (Greenhills Promenade and The Block at SM North EDSA) and Left Behind (Vertis North and Circuit Makati). Expect to pay ₱400 to ₱750 a head, depending on the day and how many of you there are, for a game of 35 to 75 minutes. Book ahead online; Breakout and Left Behind both warn that walk-ins can find every slot taken.
Checked 8 November 2026. Prices are as each company prints them and can change, so check the total on the booking page.
How it works, and what to ask before you book
Your group is locked in a themed room and has to solve puzzles to get out before the clock runs out. Every company below prices per head, and three of the four get cheaper per head as the group grows. Three things change your night:
- Scary or not. Some rooms are horror. Left Behind warns of "horror, murder and drugs" themes and rooms with smoke and loud noises, while LOST's home page says "No Jump Scares."
- Group size. Most rooms take up to 6, 7 or 8 players. If you are 10 or more, LOST has rooms for up to 12.
- Age. Breakout is open to all ages, Mystery Manila asks players to be at least 10, and both want an adult with younger players.
Mystery Manila: Makati, Eastwood and Ortigas
The biggest spread of rooms, 17 across its three Metro Manila branches, and the one where we could see open slots for next week when we checked. Mystery Manila says it has run since 2014. Teams of 2 to 7 get 50 minutes, and the company asks you to arrive 15 minutes early for the briefing. Phones and cameras are not allowed inside.
Rooms run from easy to hard. At Century City Mall there is Debby's Doll (tagged horror), Rebecca's Return (hard), Sinister Sensorium and Alien Assault, which is tagged for all ages. Eastwood has School of Sorcery (easy), Witch of the Woods and Tragedy on the Train (hard). SM Podium leans easy, with The Deadly Dinner, a murder mystery, and Mirrors of Magic.
- Price: for Debby's Doll on Thursday 12 and Saturday 14 November, the booking page showed ₱750 a head for 2 players, falling to ₱500 a head for 7. The site says rates vary by branch, room, group size and day.
- Age: 10 and up; under 18 with an adult
- Book: booknow.mysterymanila.com. Paid bookings are non-refundable.
- Where: Unit L305, 3rd floor, Century City Mall, Kalayaan Avenue, Makati; 2F Citywalk 2, Eastwood City, Quezon City; 5th floor, SM Podium, ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong
Breakout Philippines: Shangri-La Plaza and BGC
Breakout says it was founded in 2014 and has had more than 100,000 players. Games are 45 minutes. At Shangri-La Plaza, Secret Recipe, set in a restaurant kitchen before opening, is rated 2 out of 5 and takes up to 7, a good first room. Space Between, on a spaceship, is 4.5 out of 5. At Park Triangle in BGC, The Curator is a museum heist and Corpse Bride, set in a locked dress shop with a local ghost story, needs at least 2 players.
If your group is small, Breakout lets you join up with another group to fill a room. Walk-ins are allowed, but the site does not recommend it.
- Price: the room listings say ₱500 a head Monday to Thursday, and on Friday to Sunday and holidays ₱700 a head for 1 to 2 players, ₱650 for 3 to 4 and ₱550 for 5 to 6. The same page also prints older, lower rates further down, so confirm the total when you pay.
- Age: all ages; children under 13 with an adult
- Hours: Shangri-La Plaza, daily 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Book: online at breakout.com.ph
LOST: Greenhills and SM North EDSA
LOST is the pick for a big group or a group that hates surprises. Every room is ₱600 a player, and the home page says "No Physical Traps & No Jump Scares". At Greenhills Promenade, Alcatraz takes 3 to 12 players and Nemesis 4 to 12, both 75 minutes, with Nemesis rated 5 out of 5. Level 6 (45 minutes, 2.5 out of 5) is the gentle start. At SM North, The Great Escape: 1962 is a short 35-minute beginner room, and The Walled City of Kowloon is the hard one.
