VIP Standing came with a souvenir VIP ID and lanyard, priority entry, an exclusive entrance and early access to exclusive merch, per PULP. Tickets were sold through pulptickets.com, with SM Tickets and TicketNet outlets also selling during the first general sale in September 2025 (PULP Live World on X). The final release in May 2026 was online at pulptickets.com only (ABS-CBN).

If you do not have a ticket yet: PULP says it is not selling any more tickets. Anyone offering you one is a reseller, and PULP has warned about people pretending to be PULP Live World or pulptickets. Never pay an account you cannot verify.

If you bought for the old April date: your ticket is valid for 14 November, and shuttle tickets bought for the old date are honoured too (ABS-CBN, 7 January 2026).

Who My Chemical Romance are, and why this show matters

My Chemical Romance is a rock band from New Jersey, formed in 2001: Gerard Way on vocals, Ray Toro on lead guitar, Frank Iero on rhythm guitar and Mikey Way on bass (PULP Live World, Wikipedia). On this tour the drummer is Jarrod Alexander, a touring member.

Their debut, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, came out on an independent label in 2002. The breakthrough was Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge in 2004, the record with "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)", "Helena" and "The Ghost of You" (Warner Records bio).

Then came The Black Parade, released on 23 October 2006. It is a concept album, and its lead single "Welcome to the Black Parade" went to number 1 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart and the UK Official Singles chart (Warner Records bio). The album is now 4x Platinum in the US and sits on Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list (Warner Records, 10 September 2026). "Teenagers", "Famous Last Words" and "I Don't Love You" are on it too.

Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys followed in 2010. The band split in March 2013, announced a reunion on 31 October 2019, and released "The Foundations of Decay", their first new song since reuniting, in May 2022 (Wikipedia).

The current tour, Long Live: The Black Parade, began on 11 July 2025. Warner says the tour has "logged a total attendance of 1,895,000 fans and counting" as of September 2026 (Warner Records). That run included three nights at London's Wembley Stadium in July 2026 (Wikipedia). Rolling Stone wrote that "My Chemical Romance bring Wembley Stadium to its knees", as quoted in that release.

The timing matters for Manila. The Black Parade (20th Anniversary), an expanded reissue on Reprise Records, comes out on 23 October 2026, twenty years to the day after the original. Before Asia the band plays five nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. In Asia, they play Incheon on 7 November and Singapore on 10 and 11 November before Manila, then Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta after (Warner Records).

My Chemical Romance and Manila

The band has played the Philippines once before. On 25 January 2008 they played the Fort Bonifacio Open Field in Taguig on The Black Parade World Tour, the first stop of an Asian run that went on to Taipei, Hong Kong and Jakarta (PEP.ph, 25 January 2008). Viva Concerts promoted it, and tickets were P3,750 for Gold, P2,500 for Silver and P400 for General Admission (Philstar, 14 January 2008).

At the press conference the day before, at the InterContinental Hotel in Makati, Warner Music gave the band a multi-platinum award for The Black Parade, which had sold 20,000 copies in the Philippines (PEP.ph). PULP Live World calls that show "a night still etched into the hearts of every Filipino MCR fan."

The 2026 show has taken a while. PULP announced it in July 2025 for 25 April 2026 (ABS-CBN, 7 July 2025). On 20 December 2025 the band moved all its Southeast Asia dates to November 2026 (band's Instagram). No reason was given; ABS-CBN noted the band "did not cite the reason for the postponement" (ABS-CBN). In March 2026 PULP added new sections and said refunded tickets would go back to the public in a final online sale on 15 May (ABS-CBN). The show has since sold out.

"We will be postponing our upcoming Southeast Asia dates until November 2026. These shows are not canceled! All purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates. [...] We very much look forward to coming to see you all in November."

Gerard Way, in Manila, January 2008 (as reported by PEP.ph, 25 January 2008):

"The whole thing is just surreal and pretty fantastic. I'm really excited to be here, we're very excited to play."

PULP Live World, 31 March 2026 (as quoted by ABS-CBN):

"After so many years, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE is finally returning to our stage, and we're making sure more fans get to experience it live."

What they have been playing

This is what they played on recent dates of this tour, not a promise of the Manila setlist.

Warner describes the show in two parts: "The first, set in the fictional authoritarian world of Draag, sees the band performing all of The Black Parade from front to back. The second takes place on a B-stage as they play beloved songs from throughout their career" (Warner Records).

Part one on recent dates: The Black Parade in album order, from "The End." and "Dead!" through "Welcome to the Black Parade", "I Don't Love You", "Teenagers" and "Famous Last Words", then a reprise of "The End."

Part two changes every night. At the Alamodome in San Antonio on 12 September 2026, the B-stage set was "From A to B", "Helena", "Boy Division", "Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)", "Summertime", "To the End", "AMBULANCE", "Hang 'Em High", "Surrender the Night", "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" and "The Foundations of Decay" (Loudwire). King Diamond joined them for "Mama" that night.

At Citi Field in New York on 9 August 2026 the second set included "Give 'Em Hell, Kid", "Bulletproof Heart", "Bury Me in Black" and "Demolition Lovers" (Consequence). At Wembley on 11 July 2026 it included "Party Poison", "Vampire Money", "SING" and "The Kids From Yesterday" (setlist.fm).

"Helena", "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" and "Na Na Na" were in all three sets we checked.

Getting there and back

PULP sold shuttle tickets for the original April date, and those are honoured for 14 November (ABS-CBN). No new shuttle details have been posted as of 19 October 2026. Questions people ask

Are there still tickets for My Chemical Romance in Manila? No. PULP Live World says the show is sold out and it is not selling any tickets. Be careful with resellers, and never pay accounts claiming to be PULP or pulptickets.

How much were tickets? From ₱2,120 for Upper Box B Regular to ₱21,200 for VIP Standing, per PULP's event page.

What time does the show start? 7:00 PM on Saturday, 14 November 2026. Gate and door times have not been announced yet.

My ticket says 25 April 2026. Is it still valid? Yes. The band said all purchased tickets will be honoured for the new dates, and shuttle tickets for the old date are honoured too.

Will they play The Black Parade in full? On recent dates of this tour they played the whole album in order, then a second set of other songs. That is what they have been doing, not a promise for Manila.

Who is the opening act? None has been announced.
