Good to know
Porac is about two hours north of Manila by the North Luzon Expressway and the Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway. The Beast on the Saturday is the national series finale, so it draws the strongest field of the year. Teams can be created during registration so that everyone runs in the same heat, and there is accommodation in Clark and Angeles rather than at the venue.
About this event
The finale of the Philippine national obstacle racing series, held over two days on the open lahar plains at SandBox in Alviera. Sprint at 5K with twenty obstacles and Beast at 21K with thirty obstacles run on the Saturday, Super at 10K with twenty five obstacles on the Sunday, and clearing all three inside a calendar year earns the trifecta. Entry runs from ₱4,000 for the Sprint to ₱5,000 for the Beast. Porac is dry and exposed with almost no shade, so the heat is part of the course.
