Ayà is the sister restaurant of Hapag, the Filipino tasting menu restaurant of chefs Nav and Thirdy, set in a glass walled lounge on Hapag's mezzanine at The Balmori Suites in Rockwell. The menu is à la carte: small plates such as warek warek and scallop kinilaw, then mains like Binondo steak fried rice and beef short rib kare kare, with cocktails built on local fruit like kamias and guava. The name comes from anyaya, the Filipino word for an invitation, and it stays open late.
