The original Kodawari, a small donburi shop on the ground floor of Adamson Centre on Leviste Street, opened in 2023 after the brand began as a delivery kitchen in late 2020. The gyudon is the reason to go: marbled beef, a soft egg and crisp fried kamote leaves over rice. The room is bright and casual, with retro Japanese pop on the speakers. This is the Salcedo branch the Michelin Guide selected, separate from the other Kodawari counters.
