Marudori is the chicken ramen house of Nippon Hasha, the group behind Mendokoro Ramenba and Ramen Yushoken, on the ground floor of 8 Rockwell. The broth is tori paitan, whole chicken simmered for hours until it turns thick and creamy, and the ramen is made entirely with chicken. The shio paitan is the plain, salt seasoned version to start with; the shoyu paitan adds soy and grilled chicken thigh. There is also tsukemen, gyoza and chicken grilled over binchotan charcoal, plus off menu clam ramen made only at this branch.
