Omotesando Koffee is the Tokyo-born coffee brand, and its Salcedo Village branch is the second in Manila after Power Plant Mall. The centrepiece is the brand's wooden coffee cube, a counter in the middle of the room where you watch the baristas make each espresso, with furniture by Hong Kong's Studio Adjective. The room is quiet, with an outlet at every table, and it opens at 7am every day. Come for the coffee and a seat rather than a takeaway: the iced latte, shaken to a thick foam, is the drink to order.
