Seat plan

The arena is a bowl of numbered sections around a central floor. SM Tickets seat plans for 2026 shows use the same section numbers every time: the floor in front of the stage, then the 100s, 200s, 400s and 500s, rising from the floor to the top. Each promoter sets its own ticket names (SVIP, VIP, Box Premium, Box Regular and so on) and prices, so a seat in the same section can cost different amounts for different shows. Use this as a general guide only. The seat plan on your own event's ticket page is the one that counts.

  • Floor (SVIP, Royalty, Platinum or VIP Standing)

The flat area in front of the stage. At concerts it is usually sold as the top ticket, either standing or as reserved seats depending on the show (for example SVIP Standing at Charlie Puth and 5 Seconds of Summer, and seated SVIP 1 and 2 at Jason Mraz and Westlife). There are no floor seats when a basketball court is set up.

  • 100s (sections 101 to 122)

The lowest ring, right by the court or floor. At basketball games these are the courtside sections. At concerts with an end stage, only some are sold. At Jason Mraz, for example, 101 and 122 at the back of the floor are SVIP 3, and 104 to 107 and 116 to 119 sit beside the floor.

  • 200s (sections 201 to 222, VIP)

The lower bowl just above the floor. Usually sold as VIP A, VIP B or VIP C. The side sections nearest the stage (205 to 207 and 216 to 218) are usually the most expensive.

  • 400s (sections 401 to 422, Box Premium or Box A and B)

The middle tier. Usually sold as Box Premium, Box A or Box B. You are further back but can still see the whole stage.

  • 500s (sections 501 to 522, Box Regular)

The top tier and usually the cheapest seats (for example ₱2,650 at Jason Mraz and ₱3,250 at Westlife, ticket charges included). It is high up and far from the stage, so you will rely more on the screens.

  • Basketball layout (UAAP)

For UAAP games, SM Tickets sells SVIP, VIP and Box Premium. For the 7 October 2026 game these cost ₱550, ₱450 and ₱225. The court plan has seats all around the court, with each school's fans at opposite ends.

Getting there

  • No train line stops at the arena. Take LRT-1 to EDSA station or MRT-3 to Taft Avenue station. Then change to the EDSA Carousel bus at the Tramo stop (southbound) or the Taft Avenue stop and ride south to the SM Mall of Asia stop. The Carousel runs 24 hours a day.
  • From Makati, get on the EDSA Carousel at the Buendia or Ayala stop (beside the MRT-3 stations) and ride south to the SM Mall of Asia stop. It is the simplest public transport option because the buses have their own lane on EDSA.
  • From BGC there is no direct train. Most people book a ride-hailing car or taxi. You can also take a BGC Bus to the EDSA Ayala stop and then the EDSA Carousel south to the SM Mall of Asia stop.
  • The bus stop at the Globe Rotunda, in front of the main mall, serves several bus lines including the EDSA Carousel. The mall also has two transport terminals, so you can usually get a bus home without going back to EDSA.
  • Parking: the Mall of Asia Arena Annex (MAAX) car park was built beside the arena for about 1,400 cars. The mall's North and South parking buildings and other car parks in the complex have thousands more slots.
  • Traffic around the complex gets very heavy before and after big shows. Leave early, and expect queues for pick-up and ride-hailing after the last song.

Before you go

  • Tickets bought online at SM Tickets must be redeemed by the cardholder. Your SM Tickets account, the credit card and one valid government ID must all be in the same name. Someone else cannot redeem tickets for you.
  • SM Tickets says that, under a Pasay City ordinance, it will cancel purchases made with abnormal, irregular or fraudulent methods, such as macro programs. Buy the ticket yourself, and use only one device and browser per account.
  • Age rules are set by each show, not by the arena. For example, at Jason Mraz (27 October 2026) fans must be at least 5. Children 14 and under must be with a parent or guardian who has a ticket for the same section, and 15 to 17 year olds without a parent need a signed waiver. Check your show's page.
  • We could not open the arena's own house rules on bags, food and cameras. Check the event's ticket page and the promoter's posts before you go.
  • Check gate and show times on your event page and arrive early. For example, Jason Mraz has doors at 6:00 PM for an 8:00 PM show, and Coke Studio gates open at 5:00 PM. Entry queues and traffic around the complex are both slow.
  • Eat in SM Mall of Asia before the show. The mall is a short walk from the arena and has far more choice than the arena's food stalls.
  • If you plan to drive, think about using the MAAX car park beside the arena. On big nights the car parks in the complex can fill up early in the evening.
  • Leaving takes time. Waiting 20 to 30 minutes in the mall after the show is often faster than joining the first rush for cars and ride-hailing.
  • The 500s are the cheapest seats but also the highest. If you want to see faces, side seats in the 200s or 400s are usually worth the extra money.
  • If you still need to redeem tickets on the day, bring the ID that matches your SM Tickets account and card.
