By What's On Manila editors

Cup of Joe play two nights at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City: Thursday 3 December and Friday 4 December 2026, both at 8:00 PM as reported. The concert is called Symphony, and the Baguio band play with the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth. The first night is sold out. Tickets for the second night are sold by Ticketnet, and the price range is ₱1,888 to ₱8,888.

Checked 6 November 2026.

It is also the last show before a break. Billboard Philippines reported on 4 November that the band will go on a temporary hiatus after these two nights. So for a while, this is the last chance to see them live.

The essentials

  • Dates: Thursday 3 December 2026 (sold out) and Friday 4 December 2026
  • Time: 8:00 PM both nights, as reported by Sunday Punch. Ticketnet's page could not be opened from our side, so check the time on your ticket.
  • Venue: Smart Araneta Coliseum, the Big Dome, Cubao, Quezon City
  • With: the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth
  • Director: Paolo Valenciano
  • Produced by: Viva Live
  • Tickets: Ticketnet, online and at Ticketnet outlets
  • Guests announced: Paolo and Miguel Benjamin of Ben&Ben, and Anne Curtis. Which night each one appears is not announced yet.

Ticket prices

When the concert was announced in September, ABS-CBN printed five ticket tiers for 3 December:

  • VIP Seated: ₱8,888
  • VIP Standing: ₱7,888
  • Lower Box: ₱4,888
  • Upper Box: ₱2,888
  • General Admission: ₱1,888

When the band added the second night on 1 October, GMA News gave the concert's price range as ₱1,888 for General Admission to ₱8,888 for VIP Seated. We could not open Ticketnet's page to see the 4 December prices section by section, or which sections are left (checked 6 November 2026).

ABS-CBN reported that Upper Box and General Admission are free seating. In those sections there are no seat numbers, so the earlier you get in, the better your spot.

What the VIP tickets include

ABS-CBN listed the extras when the prices came out:

  • VIP Seated: a hi-bye session, soundcheck access, a postcard, a sticker, a three-month Viva One subscription and a Yogorino.
  • VIP Standing: soundcheck access, a postcard and a three-month Viva One pin.
  • Lower Box, Upper Box and General Admission: a one-month Viva One pin.

Soundcheck times and how the hi-bye session works on the day are not announced yet. Watch Viva Live's pages and the band's in the week before the show.

How to buy

Tickets went on sale on Wednesday 30 September 2026 through the Ticketnet website and Ticketnet outlets, ABS-CBN reported, and 3 December sold out. Billboard Philippines reported the sell-out on 2 October. For 4 December, The Manila Times reported on 5 November that tickets "are available at Ticketnet online."

Buy only from Ticketnet or a Ticketnet outlet. A resold ticket bought from a stranger can be fake or already used, and you will not find out until the gate.

Why this show is different

Sunday Punch called Symphony the band's first concert featuring a live orchestra: the 32-piece Orchestra of the Filipino Youth, playing orchestral arrangements of the band's songs. Lead vocalist Gian Bernardino said in a social media reel by Philippine Concerts that the night would be a "mix of music, film, and theater", as quoted by Billboard Philippines.

It is also the fifth and last "stage" of the band's Sandali Sessions, a chain of shows for their EP Sandali, according to Billboard Philippines.

The band is Gian Bernardino and Raphaell Ridao on vocals, Gab Fernandez on lead guitar, CJ Fernandez on rhythm guitar and Xen Gareza on keyboards, as listed by The Manila Times.

What they might play

The setlist is not announced yet (checked 6 November 2026). The songs most of the Big Dome will know:

  • "Multo", from the 2025 debut album Silakbo. GMA News reported it was declared the most-streamed OPM song on Spotify in February.
  • "Tingin", with Janine Teñoso
  • "Mananatili"
  • "Misteryoso"
  • "Estranghero"

These are the songs GMA News named when it covered the guest announcement. Whether each one gets an orchestral version is up to the band.

The guests

On 2 November, GMA News reported that Paolo and Miguel Benjamin of Ben&Ben will join as guest artists. Two days later, ABS-CBN reported that Anne Curtis will also guest. The band's own post asked, "which night will she take the stage?", and said fans will have to wait and see. So if you are going for one guest in particular, you cannot pick the night yet.

The hiatus

Cup of Joe announced the break at Sandali Sessions: Ikaapat na Yugto on 30 October, Billboard Philippines reported. Gian Bernardino said the members want time to rest and focus on themselves. He also said the hiatus is not a breakup, and that the band hopes to come back "stronger". The report gave no return date.

Getting there and eating first

The Big Dome is in Araneta City, Cubao. Our Araneta Coliseum concert guide covers the trains, gates and getting home after a show lets out. The Thursday show and the Friday show are both on work nights, so plan the trip before you leave the office.

For dinner before the show, see where to eat in Cubao before Araneta. The show also has a page in our listings: Cup of Joe: Symphony. For everything else on that week, see what's on in Manila in December 2026.

What is not announced yet

As of 6 November 2026, we could not find these from the band, Viva Live or Ticketnet:

  • What time the gates open
  • Which night Ben&Ben's Paolo and Miguel Benjamin appear, and which night Anne Curtis appears
  • The setlist
  • Soundcheck and hi-bye times for VIP ticket holders
  • Merchandise booth times
