SMX Convention Center (SMX Manila and SMX Aura)

SMX has no fixed seats. Both venues are flat-floor halls and function rooms that each organizer sets up in their own way, so there is no permanent seat plan like an arena. For shows with seats, the event's own seat plan on its ticketing page is the one that counts. SMX Manila's official capacity sheet lists the rooms and their sizes so you can see how big your space will be.

• SMX Manila: Halls 1 to 4 (ground floor)

  The four exhibition halls (Hall 1 and Hall 4 are 2,750 sq m each, Halls 2 and 3 are 1,815 sq m each) open into one 9,130 sq m space with a 9 m ceiling. Used for big expos and conventions; theater setup for all four halls is 10,240 seats.

• SMX Manila: Function Rooms 1 to 5 (second floor)

  Carpeted rooms of 950 sq m (Rooms 1, 2, 3), 1,900 sq m (Room 4) and 2,350 sq m (Room 5) that can be combined. Used for fan meets, fairs, bazaars and conferences; all five combined seat 9,408 in theater style.

• SMX Manila: Meeting Rooms 1 to 15 (second floor)

  Small rooms of about 24 to 105 sq m for talks and side sessions, seating roughly 20 to 110 in theater style.

• SMX Aura: Function Rooms 1 to 3 (Level 3 of SM Aura Premier)

  Seat 550 to 1,586 guests and can be combined into up to 2,178 sq m. This is where most SMX Aura bazaars and fairs happen.

• SMX Aura: Meeting Rooms

  Eight meeting rooms for small groups, up to about 250 people when combined.

• Free seating, reserved seating and standing areas

  At ticketed shows, organizers often sell tiers such as free seating, reserved seating or standing areas inside one hall. For example, Cosplay Mania 2026 VIP tickets include reserved seats for its concert while other tiers are standing or free seating.

Official seat plan

• SMX Manila is on Seashell Lane inside the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay, next to SM Mall of Asia. A pedestrian walkway links its mezzanine to the mall, and an elevated bridgeway links it to Conrad Manila behind it.
• By train to SMX Manila: get off at MRT-3 Taft Avenue (next to LRT-1 EDSA). From EDSA near the station, jeepneys run to the Mall of Asia area in about 15 to 25 minutes; a taxi or ride-hail for the same 3.5 km is faster when traffic is light.
• SMX Aura is on the 3rd and 4th levels of SM Aura Premier at 26th Street corner McKinley Parkway, BGC. From MRT-3 Ayala, take the BGC Bus from the EDSA Ayala terminal (for example the East Express to Market! Market!, a short walk from SM Aura).
• Ride-hailing and taxis: SMX Manila has its own drop-off area at the first-floor lobby. For SMX Aura, get dropped off at SM Aura Premier and take the mall lifts or escalators up to Level 3.
• Parking: SMX Manila has indoor parking for 400 cars on its lower ground level, plus 8,245 slots across the Mall of Asia Complex, and valet service is available. SMX Aura has indoor parking for 1,700 cars across three basement levels of SM Aura Premier.
• Roads around EDSA, Roxas Boulevard and the Mall of Asia Complex get busy, especially on weekends and when other big MOA events run, so leave early and plan your ride home before the event ends.

• SMX states that its buildings were audited for compliance with Republic Act 7277 (the Magna Carta for Disabled Persons), with ramps, lifts, PWD parking and accessible toilets.
• SMX does not publish one set of bag, food, camera or age rules for visitors. Each event sets its own, so check the organizer's FAQ or ticket page before you go.
• Check the venue name on your ticket. SMX Manila (Pasay) and SMX Aura (BGC) are different buildings in different cities.
• Check the room too. Big SMX Manila events can use Halls 1 to 4 on the ground floor while smaller ones are in the function rooms upstairs, and two events often run at the same time.
• Many fan events sell cheaper late-entry passes for the last hours, for example the Shopper's Pass at Cosplay Mania 2026 from 6 PM.
• Eat before or after in SM Mall of Asia, reached by the walkway from SMX Manila, or in SM Aura Premier and the restaurants along 26th Street for SMX Aura.
• Big fan events can mean long entry lines. Bring a charged phone with your e-ticket ready and, where the organizer asks for it, a valid ID that matches your registration.
