BGC: sit-down weekend brunch

June Eatery

The all-day sister of Bibio, the Poblacion natural wine bar, opened on Burgos Circle in February 2026. Chef Kier Ibañez grew up in Cebu and cooked in Auckland, New Zealand, for twelve years. The pancake with whipped butter and spiced maple syrup is the dish June is known for; the savoury choice is a soft scramble with sumac-topped greens. Later in the day it becomes a bistro, with many of the same natural wines as Bibio.

Burgos Circle, Forbestown · ₱₱₱ · opens 8am daily.

Flour Pot Bistro & Bakery

Chef Rhea SyCip made her name with Flour Pot rum cakes before opening this all-day bistro and bakery at Verve Tower 2 in December 2025. The kitchen buys vegetables from Benguet and seafood from local fishers, and the menu runs from chicken and coconut waffles to roast chicken curry. Cakes and strawberry brioche doughnuts are sold to take home.

27th Street corner 7th Avenue · ₱₱₱ · book on 0917 315 2130.

Maker and Made

Australian-style brunch with Filipino ingredients, built around sourdough from a French starter with 160 years of history. The tapa Benedict puts braised brisket tapa and poached eggs on house-baked pandesal, and there is a vegetarian mushroom Scotch egg.

G/F Milestone, 5th Avenue · tapa Benedict ₱690 · 7am to 7pm Sunday to Wednesday, to 9pm Thursday to Saturday.

Wildflour BGC

A Manila brunch name since 2012, with an in-house bakery at every branch. The menu is long and dependable: pancakes, eggs, sandwiches, then steaks at night. The Six/NEO branch on 4th Avenue opens at 6am from Friday to Sunday, earlier than most.

Six/NEO, 4th Avenue corner 26th Street · from 7am Monday to Thursday, from 6am Friday to Sunday · book through the Wildflour website.

Good to know: if you want a quiet table on a Sunday, book ahead or come at opening.

Scratch

The sourdough bakery whose weekend dine-in at Comuna drew a line moved to a bigger, brighter space on Aguirre Street in May 2026, with a full brunch menu built on its bread. Good to know: people line up early on weekends, so arrive before 9am or plan a Wednesday to Friday visit. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Your Local

A small Asian bistro with an open kitchen that received a Bib Gourmand, the Michelin Guide's award for good cooking at a moderate price, in the first Michelin Guide Philippines. On weekdays it opens at 11am, but weekend service starts at 10am, which makes it one of the better late brunches in Makati.

106 Esteban Street, Legazpi Village · ₱₱ · Saturday and Sunday 10am to 2pm, dinner from 6pm · call +63 977 487 9236 to book.

Wildflour Salcedo and Wildflour Rada

Two Wildflour branches sit a short walk apart: one on L.P. Leviste Street in Salcedo, the other on Rada Street in Legazpi. Same bakery and brunch menu as BGC, useful when the other picks here have a queue.

Before you go

  • Book for groups, arrive early for walk-ins. Flour Pot, Wildflour and Your Local take bookings. Scratch is walk-in only, so the only way in is to arrive early.
  • Brunch is busiest late morning on Saturday and Sunday. If you want to talk, go at opening or after the lunch crowd.
  • Plan the traffic. BGC, Legazpi Village and Rockwell look close on a map, but weekday mornings are slow. Check Waze or Google Maps before you leave and allow extra time.
  • Payment. For the smaller cafes and bakeries, bring both a card and some cash.
  • Check before a holiday. Hours change around long weekends such as Undas. See our Undas long weekend guide and check each venue's Instagram before you go.
